Filmed on location in rural Nepal, Namaste Ramila shows what actually happens when someone decides to sponsor a girl through Tsering's Fund. Without this opportunity, young girls in rural Nepal otherwise face a very uncertain future; ongoing poverty, an early arranged marriage or being trafficked away. All the children in the film are sponsored by Tsering's Fund and all the dialogue was theirs alone.
