Ajit Gautam

I am currently working as an English professor here in Sarkathali Basic School.

My favorite thing about teaching is making students understand the things they are confused about and providing them with good guidance . In my opinion teaching isn't only about giving information but helping them learn and grow and help them achieve their goals.

Our Sarkathali Basic School is located in rural area with a peaceful environment and forest near the school .

However with your support and kindness our children here are getting a quality of education and we are very thankful for that.

I wanted to become a teacher because I believe education is the most powerful way to change a child’s future. Growing up, I saw how education can open doors to opportunities and build confidence. I wanted to be someone who helps guide children toward a brighter future, especially in rural communities where resources are limited.

My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the excitement in my students’ eyes. I especially love when they ask questions and try to understand. Their excitement gives me energy and motivation every day.

For the past two years, I have been teaching Mathematics. Teaching has started to feel like a passion to me. I feel that being a teacher is a noble profession because we directly help build the future of the children in the community. We get to teach them, guide them, and involve them in various educational activities.

It was decided to operate the school in the English medium. From the government side, only two teachers have been provided, which made it difficult to run the classes. However, with support received from the Tsering’s fund, we have been able to operate classes smoothly.

Teachers play a very important role in shaping the future of children.

Sanjay Tamang

Hello, and namaste. I'm Sanjay Tamang, a teacher at Shree Bhanjyang Basic School. I mainly teach English and Science. I was initially appointed as a science teacher, but due to a lack of English teachers, I also began teaching English this year.

My main goal in becoming a teacher was to help and develop the children of our village. I love and enjoy teaching, playing, and being more like a brother to the kids. I feel joy and myself, being with them and I like to give my best to them.

We have given and will continue to give our best to the school and teaching. I appreciate and respect your support for us and for education very much.

I wanted to become a teacher because I truly believe education is the most powerful way to change a child’s life.

The most beautiful part of teaching for me is seeing a child who once felt shy or weak slowly become confident. When a student who struggled finally understands a lesson and smiles with pride, that moment is priceless for me. It gives me strength and reminds me why I chose this profession.

This year, with the generous support of Tsering's Fund, we were able to change all the leaking classroom roofs. Now, the classrooms are much safer and more comfortable, and we are truly grateful for this support.

I feel blessed to guide these young minds, and I sincerely hope that through your support, we can create better opportunities for them.
